Menopause, the change of life in women, can be a time of health disturbances with the shifting of hormones. As menopause is associated with the movement into old age, the Vata stage of life, symptoms are primarily of high Vata with increased nervousness, anxiety, insomnia and depression. But Pitta is usually involved as well, owing to the decreasing Kapha or secretions in the body.
The general treatment is anti-Vata herbs that tonify the female reproductive system. They are Crucial, including Kumari Saar, Shatavari, Kapikachu, and Ashwagandha taken along with milk or any other forms.
